We are searching for a highly analytical applicant who is capable of working full time and possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities to join our growing firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families and educate them on matters of insurance and powers of attorney. To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility. Responsibilities: • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date • Provide clients with information about retirement plans, charitable contributions, and insurance choices • Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action Qualifications: • Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Working knowledge of wills, trusts, properties, and some residential and commercial real estate law. Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000 yearly
