We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning and probate attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families and also assist families with probate matters when a loved one has passed. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. Responsibilities: • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Educate clients about options for retirement, donating to charity, and purchasing insurance • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date Qualifications: • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 2-3 years Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 commensurate with experience
