Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join their Tampa office. Their Trusts and Estates practice provides sophisticated legal solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
- Prepare and file probate and trust administration documents in state and federal courts.
- Manage estate and trust administration matters, including asset collection, accountings, and distributions.
- Draft correspondence, legal memoranda, and other client communications.
- Maintain and organize client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and related filings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a trusts and estates paralegal in a law firm setting.
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Florida probate and trust administration procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients.
