Responsibilities:
As a Contract Logging Geologist, you will play a crucial role in our exploration efforts, gaining valuable exposure to both surface and underground drilling operations. Your primary responsibilities will include core logging and detailed data entry, as well as various geological data collection tasks.

• Perform core logging and ensure accurate data entry.
• Collect geological data, including Rock Quality Designation (RQD), Rock Mass Rating (RMR), Terraspec readings, core photography, and core density measurements.
• Collaborate with the geological team to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field, with a strong foundation in Mineralogy and Petrology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Position Details:

• Duration: 3-6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs.
• Schedule: 10-hour workdays; flexible scheduling options available (Monday-Friday or rotational shifts).
• We are not able to provide per diem, housing or travel assistance at this time.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
