  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Give effective presentations to individuals and small groups using power point or other appropriate presentation platforms.
    • Establish and maintain contacts within the engineering community. Preferably inclusive of territory of responsibility.
    • Identify and track plumbing projects within territory of responsibility.
    • Call on plumbing engineers or other stakeholders within assigned region.
    • Entertain and build rapport with relevant stakeholders (lunches, dinners, occasional other activities.) - Join ASPE Chapters and attend ASPE Chapter meetings within assigned region - Be the subject matter expert for all installation and product issues concerning soil pipe, couplings and gaskets within the engineering and code community.
    • Educate engineers on establishing domestic specifications with the CISPI logo and why this specification has value to their firm.
    • Promote the use of cast iron over plastics in all specs. Educate engineers and code officials on the proper installation of plastics underground and in fire rated construction and the costs associated with proper installation.
    • Organize lunch and learn programs within the assigned region.
    • Maintain a listing of key engineering firms within the assigned region. This listing will include name, address, phone number and key personnel.
    • Other duties as directed by the National Director of MPG Technology.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must possess good communication skills and be comfortable with presenting in front of an audience.
    • Able to travel overnight up to 70% of each week.
    • Must possess strong time management skills and initiative.
    • Basic plumbing systems product knowledge.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications or marketing or equivalent experience.
