    DUTIES:

    Coordinate the referral process, case assignment, and inquiries for home studies and post release services with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) shelters and other HS/PRS providers.

    Determine program capacity of assigned agencies and USCRI staff, accept HS/PRS referrals on an ongoing basis.

    Manage data accuracy using client documentation and databases, including but not limited to tracking referrals, verifying client demographic information, type of service requirement, and service timeframes.

    Verify data accuracy with ORR database and USCRI database.

    Responsible for case closure process in databases for HS/PRS

    Assist in responding to data requests.

    Complete assigned quality assurance calls and collaborate with HQ staff.

    Provide administrative support to the HS/PRS network; and

    Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration or related field preferred.

    Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;

    Strict adherence to timeframes, policy and procedure;

    Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;

    Ability to work well independently and in a team;

    Ability to effectively use technology;

    Fluency in Spanish is required; and

    Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to comply with mandatory state reporting requirements for child abuse and neglect;

    Candidate must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and displaced people;

    Candidate must pass a criminal background check that includes past history of conviction of child and sexual abuse; and

    Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace.

     

    TRAINING REQUIREMENTS**

    Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training;

    Satisfactory completion of ORR required trainings upon hire and on an annual basis; and

    Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;

    Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;

    Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and

    Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Fluent in Spanish (Mandatory and deal breaking)

    • Fully Vaccinated – Must have their Covid Vaccination card

    • Salary: $57,000- $60,000

    • The employee will be conducting in-person home visits with unaccompanied children and their families. The position requires 50-75% travel, both local and long distance, sometimes with limited notice.
