  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Experience: 4+ years of experience in UAT or QA roles

    - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with React-based web apps, RESTful APIs, and Azure Functions.

    - Cloud Experience: Experience testing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

    - Test Management: Working knowledge of test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).

    - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand business workflows.

    Nice to Have:

    - Certifications: Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).

    - Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

    - Telecom Domain Knowledge: Understanding of telecom domain knowledge processes and workflows."

    - Frontend Validation: Validate the React-based UI for functionality, usability, and consistency.

    - Backend Testing: Verify the interactions and performance of Azure Functions.

    - API Testing: Execute API testing to ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend using tools like Postman or Swagger.

    - Cloud Deployment Verification: Ensure the application is correctly deployed and functioning on the Azure cloud.

    - Security Validation: Perform security testing, including role-based access control (RBAC), session handling, data protection, and authentication (OAuth2/MSAL).

    - Comprehensive UAT: Conduct comprehensive UAT to ensure the software meets user requirements and business objectives.

    - Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand business requirements and lab-specific use cases.

    - Test Planning and Execution: Design and execute detailed UAT test plans, test cases, and test data to validate end-to-end workflows across frontend and backend services. Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring they are resolved before release.

    - Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.

    - Functional Testing: Perform functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing of the lab management software.

    - Feedback and Communication: Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team and participate in regular status meetings.

    - Bug Resolution: Work with development teams to identify, log, and resolve bugs in a timely manner using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

    - UAT Sign-Off: Provide UAT sign-off, reporting on risks, test coverage, and business readiness."
