  • Responsibilities

    Our client, a leading aviation company, is seeking a UAT lead for a Coupa implementation. You'll be assigned to work with the functional teams in Procurement, AP, IT, and the operations team on creating and managing test plans and test cases. Additionally, they would coordinate all phases of functional and integration testing.

    Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and validation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across functional teams to ensure the system meets business requirements and process design and is deployment-ready. Leads UAT planning by identifying key stakeholders, validating use cases and scenarios, and providing regular updates in workstream lead meetings. Leads UAT coordination in engaging stakeholders, scheduling sessions, and tracking UAT completion status.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Understands business scenarios and key stakeholders needed for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    • Provides program level oversight to coordinate and properly plan UAT efforts across multiple projects and escalates potential risks as needed
    • Creates detailed plan and approach for UAT by identifying key stakeholders needed to validate critical feature development
    • Provides perspective on plan and approach of business testing efforts
    • For UAT, identifies and engages key business stakeholders, schedules meetings, and tracks completion status

    Leads planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing across business units

    • Creates detailed and organized test plan dependent on business stakeholders required for validation of critical feature development
    • Coordinates with business users to ensure understanding of UAT's value and onboarding for effective participation
    • Facilitates UAT sessions, daily check-ins, gathers feedback, and collaborates with key program team resources to address issues
    • Manages tracking of UAT onboarding, preparation, execution, and reports progress in workstream lead meetings. Also manages defect documentation and resolution
    • Reviews plan, dependencies, and risks to identify any changes in testing approach

    CRITICAL SKILLS:

    • Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational, verbal communication, and documentation skills
    • Ability to provide program level perspective to UAT efforts
    • Ability to communicate at various levels of the business and across functions
    • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively often addressing complex questions with both technical and business resources
    • Ability to understand development cycles and business value of UAT efforts
    • Develop familiarity with business tools under development that will need UAT

    This role is onsite in Plano T/W/Th and remote M/F.
