    Job Description

    Summary

    This position assists in overseeing the operations of the warehouse including the receiving, storage, distribution, and security of all goods. This position also assists in the logistical planning involved in delivering goods to customers. This position is part time Monday- Thursday. At minimum one required delivery travel day per week. Travel day can change at any time.

    Essential Functions

    1. Receives shipments of goods and ensures accuracy
    2. Assists in maintaining the organization of all goods in the warehouse
    3. Assists in maintaining the warehouse to ensure neatness and cleanliness
    4. Assists in the fulfillment, loading, routing, and delivery of orders
    5. Assists in maintaining company vehicles including routine maintenance, legal compliance, and safety.

    Required Education and Experience

    Related experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Must have valid driver’s license

    Must be qualified to drive a full-size delivery van, box truck, forklift, and operate an electric pallet jack

    Employment is contingent on the applicant’s ability to pass a pre- employment drug screen and MVR.

    Work Environment

    This position works in a warehouse environment as well as some outdoor exposure during the workday.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Travel

    One day a week to Northern Louisiana

    Pre employment drug screening and motor vehicle record search is required.
