Duties
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and development
- Support the Head Chef in creating innovative dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and food service operations
- Understanding of shift management and scheduling
- Certification in food handling and safety regulations
