Job Description
UNRL is seeking a Social Media Manager to be an integral part of a small entrepreneurial team that is striving to build an outstanding company and leave a legacy in our communities. The purpose of this position is to elevate our brand and grow e-commerce revenues, by implementing cutting-edge strategies across social media and other digital marketing platforms.
The ideal candidate would be a creative thinker with vast knowledge and experience in social media and digital marketing. We’re looking for someone with a desire to combine their passions for clothing and sports with their advanced skills in creative and digital marketing communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement high level social media strategies to grow our following, improve engagement and increase direct-to-consumer sales
- Curate posts that support our brand vision and voice by writing enticing copy that aligns with our content and sparks engagement
- Develop and maintain a content calendar of engaging posts across all social media platforms; including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Youtube
- Day-to-day management of social media platforms; posting stories/highlights, reposting, engaging with followers and responding to messages and comments
- Conduct data analysis, trend/business research, collect and analyze demographic information, and assess performance of marketing initiatives
- Produce email newsletters and SMS campaigns that coincide with social strategies; manage and grow subscriber base to increase recurring customer revenues
- Collaborate with our media buying team to create enticing sponsored advertisements to increase ROAS and meet online advertising goals
- Collaborate with the ecommerce team to synchronize campaigns across our website to social media, newsletters, SMS and other communications
- Manage and evolve the customer journey from pre-purchase to post-purchase; ensure every customer touchpoint is non-invasive and authentic to our brand
- Research and stay ahead of market trends to evolve our marketing strategies across all social platforms continuously
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experience managing social media for direct-to-consumer brands is preferred
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, latest tools, and trends
- Experience working with paid social media sponsored advertising, thorough understanding of the key performance indicators
- Experience and passion for content creation is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and great eye for quality content, specifically in the clothing industry
- Data-driven; ability to analyze and understand data to track KPI's such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, Engagement Rate, Growth Rate, etc.
- Must have in-depth experience with TikTok and other trending social media platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the demand of short deadlines and high-pressure situations
- Experience with Adobe Suite; graphic design experience is preferred
- Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms is preferred
- Passionate about sports and clothing industries
