  • Responsibilities

    Hybrid in office Tuesday-Thursday in McLean, VA.

    Join a leader in financial services and market infrastructure, where you’ll shape the user experience of client-facing data applications as a UX Designer. This high-impact role focuses on delivering modern, responsive, and accessible design systems for enterprise platforms in the FinTech space, with a special emphasis on solutions for finance professionals, developers, and global stakeholders, including government clients. You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional team to evolve data visualization and UI strategies for products used in both FinTech and government contexts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Apply user-centered design principles to create accessible, scalable, responsive interfaces.
    • Collaborate with development and product teams to align UX strategies with business goals.
    • Conduct user research via interviews, usage data analysis, and usability testing (in-person/remote).
    • Develop user personas, journeys, and interactive prototypes.
    • Perform task analysis, heuristic evaluations, and cognitive walkthroughs.
    • Lead ideation sessions and present design concepts to stakeholders with clarity.
    • Stay updated on UX trends and technologies in FinTech and digital product design.
    • Manage multiple projects independently, adapting to shifting priorities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 7+ years of hands-on UX design experience, with a strong preference for FinTech, government, or enterprise-level products.
    • Portfolio with 2–4 case studies showcasing UX research and design (school projects acceptable).
    • Deep knowledge of interaction design, usability theory, and responsive frameworks.
    • Proficiency in prototyping/design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure).
    • Familiarity with front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

    $125,000 per year
