    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Ultrasound Technologist Cardiovascular, Wound Care Center.

    In this role, the successful candidate performs all types of Echocardiography and Non invasive Vascular testing including echos, stress echos, carotid duplex, venous duplex, arterial duplex, PVR's and abdominal aorta duplex testing.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Performs echocardiography exams using the Electronic Medical Record EMR and the IDX billing scheduling systems Registers all studies performed in the log book
    • Performs vascular exams using the EMR and IDX scheduling systems Registers all studies performed in the log book
    • Handles calls regarding emergency test add ons and scheduling issues
    • Assists in the proper functioning of the cardiovascular lab including but not limited to maintaining clean equipment and re stocking the lab with supplies as necessary
    • Attends quarterly quality assurance meetings and in services as necessary

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify, you must have a High School or GED, required. Technical Diploma Graduate from an accredited two (2) year ultrasound program, required. 3-5 years in a cardiovascular ultrasound role in a Hospital or Office setting with ARDMS RDCS credentials, required and registry eligible vascular sonography vascular credentials, required within first (1) year. Strong communication both written and oral problem solving and customer service skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

    Required Licenses: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Certified, Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cert, Registered Vascular Technologist-Cert

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Current and valid BLS or CPR certification

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $103,073.87 - $113,673.88 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
