    Job Description

    COMMERCIAL TRUCKING BODILY INJURY CLAIMS ADJUSTER

    Our BODILY INJURY CLAIMS ADJUSTER will manage a caseload of up to 150 pending claims (various levels of complexity).

    DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors

    The BODILY INJURY CLAIMS ADJUSTER will be expected to:

    • Keep claims metrics current.
    • Perform timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion.
    • Attend conferences, client meetings, and other travel as needed.
    • Handle files within state statutes, and company/customer guidelines.
    • Mentor other adjusters and assist management as requested.
    • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE NEEDED:  

    • 2-7 years of claims adjusting experience in Commercial Auto or Commercial Trucking.
    • 2-7 years of bodily injury claims adjusting experience.
    • 2-7 years of litigation experience.

    EDUCATION NEEDED:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is preferred.
    • An active adjusters' license for Florida or other jurisdiction.

    In the spirit of pay transparency we are excited to share the base salary for the position of Claims Adjuster is $56,800 -$70,100, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  This position is also eligible for an annual performance raise if all guidelines are met.  Your salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equality and consider internal equality of our current team members as a final part of any offer.  Please keep in mind that range mentioned above is full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow future and continued salary growth.  We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
