The role: We are scientists at the top of our field, and we are looking to partner deeply with a brilliant generalist start-up operator - you! We aim to create a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment that spans science and manufacturing to create breakthroughs in materials science and then produce them at massive scale.

Responsibilities: • Supporting the founders on all business operations: recruitment, people operations, fundraising, finance, facilities. • Managing all non-technical staff. • Supporting the CEO on fundraising including helping to secure federal and state grants. • Partnering with the founders to establish a state of the art quantum materials laboratory. About you: • Experience in an executive capacity at a fast growing start-up, managing teams and scaling operations. • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex information and issues clearly, concisely, and persuasively. • Strong interpersonal skills to work harmoniously and effectively with internal and external stakeholders and staff. • Lifelong commitment to learning and individual growth • A dynamic mindset and desire to be part of a transformational project that will involve making substantial scientific and engineering breakthroughs. • Bonus: you’ve worked in a start-up with a significant laboratory and/or advanced manufacturing process for example in aerospace, automotive or biotech. • Bonus: you’ve started your own company.
