    Position Summary

    The Unemployment Claims Associate is responsible for performing unemployment benefit claims support work using a set of developed procedures and programs to ensure compliance, client satisfaction, and productivity

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Intake services; processing incoming mail, organizing files on server, building client files,
    • verifying wage data, and initial client outreach.
    • Case triage: prioritizing cases based on complexity and urgency. Assigning the appropriate specialist group, to ensure claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
    • Assist Specialists with gathering of documents to support timely claims response.
    • Maintaining documents, ensuring all documents are stored securely and easily accessible for future reference.
    • Maintain various tracking systems to provide increased organization and insight.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • A strong drive to deliver exceptional client support to both external and internal customers.
    • Strong organizational skills, diligence, and follow-through.
    • Knowledge of the use and functionality of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to handle a high volume of work, follow policies and procedures and complete tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret written information.
    • Ability to communicate in English effectively in writing and orally.
    • Treat sensitive and confidential information responsibly

    Eduaction & Experience

    • High School Diploma, some college preferred.
    • 0-2 years of work experience required.
