Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required. MBA/CPA a plus.
- 7+ years of accounting experience including general and cost accounting with responsibility for Inventory Control, P&L, and Balance Sheet Management required; significant and relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required following strict application of accounting principles.
- 3+ years of experience in managing accounting teams or direct reports.
- Proven track record of effectively partnering with cross-functional team members at all levels, translating data into useful information about the business, and influencing strategic initiatives to drive operational/financial results
- Experience in creating budgets, forecasts, and analysis tools from the ground up, while ensuring accuracy, ease of use and simplification of design.

- Communication: Communicates to the operations manager, sales, customer service, accounting team and other departments to ensure effective two-way interaction. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Leadership/Initiative: Actively seeks accounting and financial improvements. Actively participates in the development of team, seeking opportunities that foster skill development. Consistently demonstrates integrity and high work standards.
- Business Knowledge: Keeps current with latest company developments along with industry trends.
