Responsibilities * Execute all core employment processes (i.e., Onboarding, Offboarding, etc.) * Enter employment data into HCM and Payroll systems and preserve accuracy of records. * Maintain employee personnel files, with periodic audits. * Administer leaves (FMLA, LOA, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Vacation, Sick, etc.) * Monitor employee eligibility for benefit plans; process enrollments, cancellations or changes; assist employees with questions or resolution of issues. * Support open enrollments. * Guide employees and management on company policies and business practices. * Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. * Update employee handbook, internal policies, and employment materials. * Standardize HR Operation processes across regions, create process flow maps, and manage on-going maintenance. * Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. * Assist with regulatory compliance reporting and internal/external audits (i.e., ISO, 401k, EEO-1, etc.) * Conduct various audits to ensure data integrity. * Process verification of employment requests. * Respond and represent company on unemployment claims. * Assign employee trainings and manage their completion. * Write and run reports for HR / Payroll systems. * Actively engages in team meetings and participates in developing team goals and objectives. * Assist in cross-training of team members. Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field * 3+ years of Human Resource generalist experience * Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP or PHR) certification * Global and cultural awareness, with international experience a plus * Consultative approach with professional communication skills (verbal and written) * Strong HCM systems experience, with broad knowledge of MS Office Suite and remote technology * Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively * High integrity and ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information * Demonstrates flexibility and reliability, with willingness to work occasional long hours and weekends * Operates autonomously with a foundation of trustworthiness and accountability Why UnitedLex UnitedLex is an enterprise legal services provider that drives digital transformation throughout the corporate legal ecosystem.
