Citizens Bank is seeking a personable, detail-oriented Universal Banker to join our team! In this role, you’ll engage with customers, process transactions, open accounts, and educate clients on our products and services. As a Universal Banker, you’ll be an essential part of our branch, creating a welcoming experience for every customer.
What You’ll Do:
Assist customers with daily banking needs, from deposits and withdrawals to loan payments and account maintenance.
Open, close, and manage customer accounts with accuracy and a smile, following bank policies and FDIC regulations.
Guide customers through their questions, help with online banking, update personal information, and make sure each customer leaves with a complete solution.
Promote Citizens Bank’s wide range of products and services, including checking, savings, and loan products, to match customers with the best solutions.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer, process checks, handle wire transfers, and perform currency exchanges while adhering to bank protocols.
Be on the lookout for any suspicious activity, safeguarding the bank and our customers.
Embrace continuous learning to stay up-to-date with our services, products, and banking regulations.
Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a teller or customer service role within the financial industry.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and a talent for building relationships with customers and team members.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with basic computer applications and ready to learn new software.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an hour lunch break. Occasional flexibility to work at other branch locations may be required.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Extensive computer use is involved, and applicants must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
