Job Summary
We are seeking a Universal Banker to join our team. In this role, you will assist our customers in managing their bank accounts and finances. You will develop long-term relationships with clients as well as network to generate new potential business. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, uses a customer-oriented approach to solving problems, and has proven experience in banking.
Responsibilities
Communicate with clients to discover their bank services needs
Assist clients in opening and closing bank accounts
Process teller transactions, cross selling bank products, implementing bank procedures
Provide resolution for any issues the customer may have with their accounts or banking services
Refer clients to other financial experts within the bank when necessary
Network and develop relationships with potential clients
Educate prospective and existing clients on financial products and services
Enter information into banking software
Other administrative duties, as necessary
Qualifications
. Previous experience as a Personal Banker is preferred
Deep understanding of personal banking regulations
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and loan processing and banking software
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to perform in a goal-oriented environment
Customer-oriented approach to handling problems
