WHO ARE WE? UTS provides transportation for students, elderly, developmentally disabled clients, and clients of all age range to school, work, doctor’s appointments, etc. We primarily service the City of Cincinnati, Warren County, Fairfield, Middletown, Hamilton, Westchester, and Dayton, OH areas.

THIS SPECIFIC POSITION IS SPECIFICALLY FOR YELLOW SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION TRANSPORTING STUDENTS FOR CINCINNATI PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

FOLLOWING ARE PREFERED:

• CDL Class A or B
• Student and/or Passenger Endorsement

TRAINING:

• Train to obtain CDL Temps
• Prepare for Student and Passenger Endorsement

REQUIREMENTS OF A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

• MUST HAVE A VALID CDL CLASS B with Student and Passenger Endorsements
• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Maintain a yearly medical examination

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

• Drives School bus to transport students to and from school
• Follows safety rules as students board and exit buses
• Keeps bus interiors clean for passengers
• Completes pre and post vehicle inspections as required
• Reads maps, and follows written, verbal, and GPS geographic directions
• Performs all other duties as assigned
