    Located in Woodinville Washington, University Swaging is a leading supplier of structural and kinematic control rod assemblies, flight control mechanisms, and swaged cable assemblies to the global aerospace industry. Founded in 1947 University Swaging was acquired by Precision Castparts in 2011, and became part of the Airframe Segment.

    The Financial Analyst performs complex accounting functions related to financial processes, reporting, analysis, and interpretation and provides input to management and guidance to other Finance department personnel about these functions. This position reports to the Plant Controller.

    **Primary Duties & Responsibilities: **

    • Actively participate in month end closing process, generate monthly journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
    • Assist with the preparation and presentation of the Quarterly Financial Packet.
    • Perform financial analysis on results of daily operations.
    • Manage fixed assets including budget, capitalizations, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
    • Manage operational leases including partnering with Division accounting team to maintain up to date lease information & amortization schedules within LeaseQuery.
    • Assist with SOX compliance and reporting.
    • Identify and implement automation opportunities and process improvements.
    • Manage reporting of daily KPI's for facility
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills:

    • Good working knowledge of accounting practices and financial reporting processes
    • Excellent computer skills including a high degree of skill in Excel
    • Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative analysis, and analytical abilities
    • Ability to quickly understand concepts and think through possible solutions and implications
    • Detail oriented with the ability to understand the “big picture”
    • Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate business results and department needs across all levels of the organization
    • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude, and a strong sense of self-motivations, accountability, and responsibility
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
    • Knowledge of capital expenditure budgeting process
    • Familiarity with manufacturing/processing environment preferred

    Required Experience and Education

    • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or analytical support position
    • Accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
    • BA/S in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA License, CMA License or MBA preferred

    For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $70,000 to $105,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. Also for informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
