    JOB SUMMARY
    Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

    The Warehouse Supervisor a key position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a warehouse. This role involves managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Responsible for the efficient performance and proper training of the warehouse staff. Supervises and monitors every member of the warehouse staff to ensure proper performance according to his/her assigned job duties.

    · Responsible for the supervision of the proper and efficient workflow of the warehouse; receiving supplies, stocking supplies, and shipping orders to customers. Ensure that each one of these tasks are accomplished in a timely manner. Find ways in which to increase productivity.

    · Responsible for the accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments, and that products received are free from damage. The warehouse Supervisor is tasked with reporting and documenting any damaged product, and to notify the warehouse manager immediately.

    · Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the staff’s proper training on checking merchandise, ensuring that it is moved to the correct destination, efficiently staging and placing merchandise in designated areas, and ensuring that the process is completed within 24 hours of the merchandise’s receipt.

    · Responsible for supervising all orders shipping for the day, utilizing UPS systems and/or other carriers according to the shipment needs.

    · Responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion, making sure that all areas are clear of any trash or debris.

    · Responsible for conducting and supervising the monthly physical inventory counts; reconciling variances; inputting data as needed.

    · Responsible for securing the warehouse by activating alarms, testing systems.

    · Responsible for proper equipment maintenance by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventative maintenance; and arranging for repairs when necessary.

    · Responsible for keeping records of all employees’ documentation, e.g., forklift certification.

    · Understand OSHA regulations as related to day-to-day operations of the Warehouse.

    · To consistently meet deadlines and objectives as agreed and typically described in quarterly reviews

    · To handle ongoing projects and day-to-day demands that are not identified in formal monthly objectives in a timely and accurate manner

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Supervising experience

    · Detail oriented

    · Computer literate

    · Some technical competency

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    · High School Diploma or equivalent required

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Forklift licenses (as necessary)

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    · Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

    · Frequent walking

    · Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion

    Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds
