    As an Optics Engineer, you will lead the design and development of advanced optical imaging systems for one of our most exciting new projects in the environmental devices field. You will provide expertise in optics engineering, contribute to our growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical systems into larger projects and products.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Design and develop advanced optical imaging systems, including lenses and optical components, using Zemax OpticStudio.
    • Perform optical modeling and ray tracing to evaluate and optimize system performance.
    • Work on digital holographic microscopy projects, including system design and data analysis.
    • Conduct experiments and prototype testing to validate optical designs and performance.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate optical systems into larger projects and products.
    • Document design processes, experimental results, and technical findings in detailed reports.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in optical engineering, with a focus on imaging systems and lens design.
    • Proficiency in Zemax OpticStudio for optical design and analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of ray tracing techniques and optical system modeling.
    • Experience in holography, specifically digital holographic microscopy, is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with optical testing and metrology methods.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with other optical design software (e.g., Code V, LightTool, Zemax Opticstudio).
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
    • Understanding of optical fabrication and manufacturing processes.
    • Familiarity with related fields such as photonics, laser systems, and biomedical optics.
