    Job Description:

    We are looking for an experienced Upholsterer or an individual that would like to learn this profession, to join our team and contribute to the production of our custom projects and repairs. As an Upholsterer, your primary responsibilities will include:

    Upholstery Work: Repairing and reupholstering boats, using a variety of materials and fabrics.

    Cutting and Sewing: Measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to fit furniture frames, ensuring precise alignment and a seamless finish.

    Experience in working with canvas.

    Inspecting and Evaluating: Inspecting to assess repair and reupholstery needs, as well as evaluating the condition of materials.

    Material Selection: Recommending and selecting appropriate materials, fabrics, and padding for each project.

    Precision and Quality: Ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship in all upholstery work.

    Collaboration: Working closely with the manager, to achieve the desired final product.

    Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Keeping work areas tidy and organized to maximize efficiency and safety.

    Qualifications:

    Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools preferred but not required.

    Proficiency in sewing, cutting, and pattern-making helpful.

    Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Excellent problem-solving skills.

    Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Physical fitness, as the job may involve lifting and maneuvering heavy items.
