Position: Excavation Crew Groundman

Location: Logan, UT

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable groundman to join our excavation crew. As a groundman, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with various tasks essential to the excavation process. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Assisting equipment operators and supervisors in preparing job sites for excavation activities.

Ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are appropriately organized and readily available.

Directing traffic around work zones to ensure safety for both crew members and the public.

Performing general maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas.

Loading and unloading materials from trucks as needed.

Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience in construction or excavation preferred.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing strenuous tasks.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced team members.

Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Experience with utilities preferred.
