Our client is looking for a hard-working, reliable Medical Assistant that is willing to drive throughout Ventura County and Santa Barbara to complete in-home Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.
This is an immediate hire with a start date of either 7/24 or 7/29.
What You Need to Bring:
- A year or more of Medical Assistant experience.
- Minimum 6 months in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Skilled in back office Medical Assistant tasks.
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Board Certification.
- Active driver's license and reliable vehicle. Must be willing to drive throughout all of Ventura County and Santa Barbara completing home visits.
- Ready for an average of 6 patient home visits per day.
- Proficient with EMR Systems and tech-savvy.
- Available Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm Pacific Time.

- Experience with Annual Wellness Visits.
- Home visit experience.
- Geriatric care experience.
Your Role:
You'll be at the forefront, visiting an average of 6 homes daily for Annual Wellness Visits. Here's what you'll do:
- Verify Primary Care Provider details.
- Conduct Medication Reconciliation for accurate medication lists.
- Confirm patient allergies.
- Administer the Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) Questionnaire.
- Record vital signs.
- Perform up to 6 Preventive Screenings (PADnet, DPNCheck, Dry Blood Spot Fingerprick test, FIT Kit, Urine Microalbumin Dipstick, DRE exam). Past experience performing this screenings is strongly preferred.
