    How will your internship impact First Command?

    We are seeking a motivated UX Intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to designing and improving financial products that impacts our military clients and advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates passionate about user-centered design, research, and digital innovation in the financial sector.

    What will you be doing in this internship?

    • Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and product managers to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
    • Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis
    • Assist in analyzing customer pain points and proposing design solutions for banking, investment, or financial services platforms
    • Create and maintain design documentation, including personas, journey maps, and style guides
    • Stay updated on UX trends, accessibility standards, and financial technology advancements

    What skills/qualifications do you need?

    Education

    • Must be a full time undergrad/grad student in good academic standing.
    • Upcoming Junior or Senior in college pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, social media, creative writing

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Must be available to work at Home Office at least twice a week, 15-20 hours each week.
    • Strong writing skills.
    • You have an innate sense of social trends, but also work outside the box and have an eye for original content.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all institutional policies.
    • Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Sprout Social

  • Qualifications

    The Collector I will understand the applicable laws and regulations pertaining to collections and bankruptcy.

    • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Some post-secondary education is preferred.
    • Must be able to learn and apply a variety of software applications.
    • Prior experience in a retail service environment to include member service preferred.
    • A well-rounded knowledge of the Credit Union’s collection philosophy and how that applies to treatment of members.
    • Strong ability to research using multiple databases and resources.
