We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Utility Locating Project Lead to work supporting projects in your area and nationally. Job Summary:
The Utility Locating Project Lead manages and executes land survey projects, primarily focused on utility locating, from start to finish. This role involves various tasks, including client management, financial oversight, budget proposals, and technical expertise. The Project Lead must coordinate data collection, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee survey projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Data Collection Coordination: Manage the distribution and collection of surveys and utility locating.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations, communicating survey findings to stakeholders.
- Budget proposals: Estimating and putting together budgets and proposals
- Financials: Managing financials throughout the projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with stakeholders regarding project status, findings, and recommendations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data and follow best practices for data management.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of survey projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field such as business, statistics, social sciences, or market research.
- 5 years of Land Survey industry experience
- Proficiency in survey software and data collection equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
