    Currently we are seeking a Utility -Pulse Welder to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will provide support and training to the weld departments associated with robotic welders, jigs, and fixtures. This person has a strong knowledge of equipment and welding processes to help in maintaining equipment and training other operators. This position reports to the Carroll Site Manager.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Assist in repairs on weld lines.

    Build, rebuild, or modify fixturing as needed for production improvements.

    Provide training to new and existing operators in assemblies and robot welders.

    Work with Engineering to improve parts and processes.

    Use pulse welder to assemble fabricated metal assemblies in an efficient manner to maximize production.

    Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent.

    Follow required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process.

    Weld vertical, flat, and overhead with good penetration.

    Clean and maintain an orderly work area.

    Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the safety and maintenance departments.

    Assist others as needed between the Carroll and Scranton locations.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    3 years’ experience preferred in welding or fabrication.

    Strong knowledge of robotic welders, jigs, and fixtures.

    Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

    Communicate effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow.

    Communicate with department supervisors on project progression in different areas.

    Math skills including fractions and angles.

    Read tape measure and angle finder.

    Read blueprint and cut lists.

    Ability to operate plasma cutter, grinder, and acetylene torches.

    Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated tools.

    Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
