    We are looking for a proactive, independent Transmission Project Engineer to support engineering projects for our utility clients.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    A. Prepare detailed scope of project when given high level scope

    B. Arrange and conduct field meetings to review and define work

    C. Support environmental data collection and licensing teams

    D. Support line route selection team

    E. Support FERC1000 projects

    F. Ensure drawing and GIS accuracy

    G. Oversee updates to standard specifications and procedures

    H. Manage deviations needed to support a project

    I. Manage and update as necessary agreed upon project schedule commitments including the execution of the various deliverables such as: line drawings/construction packages (all drawings including but not limited to the requirements in SST-3), creation of bill of material, foundation design analysis, structure design analysis, inspection report review, and others as needed.

    Qualifications/Experience

    A. Experience with transmission engineering for voltage levels 55 kV through 500 kV. Awareness of requirements for distribution voltages.

    B. Although not required, it is strongly preferred that the Design Project Engineer be a State of California licensed professional Civil Engineer.

    C. Design project engineer will be responsible for learning and gaining a thorough understanding of all applicable SCE transmission standards, specifications, and guidelines. These will be provided prior to start.

    D. Thorough knowledge of applicable industry and SCE regulatory codes and standards (e.g., GO-95, NESC, etc…)

    E. Technical aptitude and capability to prepare comprehensive and involved calculations, economic analyses, engineering, and construction documents
