JOB SUMMARY
We are an established small business in the Portage Park area of Chicago in need of friendly and outgoing Sales / Customer Service help. We offer a casual environment, flexible hours and room to grow. Position also offers the opportunity to expand into different roles. Compensation commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist customers in a retail environment by helping them select products
- Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Respond to customers’ questions and concerns
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Processes payments: cash and credit and debit cards
- Work with other team members to ensure orders are completing the fulfillment cycle
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Proven customer service/sales experience and excellent communication skills
- Retail clothing sales experience or knowledge of the uniform industry
- A focus for details and organization
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- A desire to please customers and develop customer relationships
- The ability to interact with a small team.
- The desire to progress into roles of increasing responsibility
- Computer skills (MS Office)
