JOB SUMMARY

We are an established small business in the Portage Park area of Chicago in need of friendly and outgoing Sales / Customer Service help. We offer a casual environment, flexible hours and room to grow. Position also offers the opportunity to expand into different roles. Compensation commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Assist customers in a retail environment by helping them select products
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Respond to customers’ questions and concerns
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Processes payments: cash and credit and debit cards
• Work with other team members to ensure orders are completing the fulfillment cycle

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Proven customer service/sales experience and excellent communication skills
• Retail clothing sales experience or knowledge of the uniform industry
• A focus for details and organization
• The ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• A desire to please customers and develop customer relationships
• The ability to interact with a small team.
• The desire to progress into roles of increasing responsibility
• Computer skills (MS Office)
