We're seeking a talented and motivated VDC Coordinator to join our team and support the design and coordination of complex mechanical and plumbing systems using cutting-edge technology.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a VDC Coordinator, you will play a key role in bringing our projects to life through accurate, coordinated 3D models and detailed construction documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Creating, managing, and coordinating 3D models and drawings for mechanical and plumbing systems
    • Generating spool drawings, installation drawings, as-built drawings, and point layouts
    • Collaborating with contractors and other trades during coordination meetings to ensure smooth integration
    • Providing technical support to project teams, troubleshooting VDC-related issues, and updating models as needed
    • Supporting both field teams and the shop throughout the project lifecycle
    • Reviewing models and designs for accuracy, ensuring alignment with project specifications, standards, and local building codes

    Qualifications:

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about mechanical systems and enjoys using technology to drive results. Our ideal candidate will have:

    • 3+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design and fabrication
    • 3+ years of field experience in mechanical or plumbing trades (preferred)
    • Strong proficiency in some or all of the following: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Trimble SysQue, Trimble Fabshop, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Planner
    • Excellent computer skills and a comfort level with using various software tools
    • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing multiple tasks or working under tight deadlines
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively with a team
    • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop creative solutions
