    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a VP, Electrical Divisions and Site Leader for a fast growing construction company in Rochester, NY.

    This position is a key leadership role that is responsible for providing the strategic direction, enabling execution and achieving the financial goals of our electric divisions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan.
    • Provide guidance to the Division Managers to ensure they can effectively bid, plan and deliver solutions that meet customer needs, achieve cost goals and ensure safety.
    • Actively participate in business development activities, including identifying and pursuing new project opportunities.
    • Work with Division Managers to create the organizations and environment required to achieve our business plans.
    • Focus on the recruitment and development of talent to meet business goals.
    • Ensure a focus on the safety of our workforce and our job sites.
    • Drive collaboration across divisions to improve efficiencies and to address organizational challenges.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and implement new solutions to improve efficiency, safety and productivity.

     

    Qualificatons:

    • 15+ years of experience leading complex commercial, municipal and utility electric projects; experience with a mid to large construction services
    • A leader who possesses strategic relationships with the key personnel at upstate New York utility companies.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electric projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements and industry best practices.
    • Demonstrated experience helping teams improve their abilities to plan and deliver complex projects while meeting cost, quality, and safety goals.
    • Strong financial management skills; experience budgeting and forecasting.
    • An approachable, down to earth operating style; humble but hungry.
    • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.

      $175,000-$225,000 per year
