We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to lead and optimize key areas, including production, supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance within our facility. Role Overview:
As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Manufacturing Operations will be responsible for aligning daily operations with company objectives, driving process improvements, and fostering a high-performance culture across all departments. This individual will implement innovative strategies to enhance production output, ensure product consistency, and maintain a seamless supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing & Production Management
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and high-quality output.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production workflows and resource utilization.
Monitor and improve equipment efficiency, reducing downtime and eliminating bottlenecks.
Champion lean manufacturing initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight
Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure on-time production and material flow.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost optimization.
Align supply chain strategies with business growth objectives and market demands.
Improve forecasting and demand planning processes to enhance production stability.
Engineering & Process Innovation
Lead engineering teams in developing and implementing process improvements and new technologies.
Drive automation and modernization initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure all engineering projects are aligned with corporate goals and delivered on schedule.
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in product design and manufacturing.
Quality Control & Assurance
Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure consistent and defect-free products.
Oversee the implementation of inspection, testing, and compliance protocols.
Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions to enhance product integrity.
Continuously analyze performance metrics to drive quality improvements.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor teams across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality control.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Set clear expectations, provide strategic guidance, and drive collaboration across departments.
Develop talent through coaching, training programs, and succession planning.
Performance Management & Compliance
Track and report key operational metrics to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and labor standards.
Oversee budget planning, cost management, and operational performance benchmarks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and operational management.
Expertise in lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and quality management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning, and process automation.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale manufacturing operations.
Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost reduction, and forecasting.
