    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a VP, Pacific West Division Manager (Surface Water) to lead a large division of seasoned managers and engineering staff throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado . This leadership role requires a dynamic individual who can drive operational excellence, foster cross-functional collaboration, and inspire high-performing teams across multiple regions. The Pacific West Division has staff of multiple disciplines working on a wide variety of surface water projects including but not limited to dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies for business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional and functional managers across multiple locations.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives across a large geographic area.
    • Drive operational efficiencies and ensure adherence to corporate policies and goals.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and regional partners.
    • Oversee regional performance metrics, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met consistently.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies across regions.
    • Monitor budget and financial performance across multiple locations and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Drive change management initiatives and adapt strategies based on market trends and business needs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 4 years of leadership

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 20+ years of relevant engineering experience
    • 5+ years managing other engineers
    • Professional engineering license
    • Experience performing engineering design for surface water projects
    • Project management experience
