    About this job

    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Retail Media to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of NielsenIQ’s retail media offerings—developing new solutions while also driving immediate revenue through direct engagement with key clients. Initially joining as an individual contributor, this role is designed to evolve into a sales leadership position , with the opportunity to build and lead a team as we scale. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative, matrixed organization and report directly to the SVP of Retail Media, Analytics & Collaboration.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a senior client-facing leader, owning strategic relationships across AdTech platforms, manufacturers, and Retail Media Networks (RMNs).
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing retail media solutions.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, measurement, and creative teams to ensure our solutions meet client needs.
    • Identify and engage new buyer personas; partner closely with stakeholders to understand customer pain points and propose impactful solutions.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the retail media landscape, including data-driven targeting, ad creative best practices, and performance measurement.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging NielsenIQ’s capabilities to drive incremental value.
    • Contribute to revenue goals by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities.
    • Embrace agility and operate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 12-15 years of sales experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail media , ideally calling on AdTech companies, manufacturers, and RMNs.
    • Deep understanding of data, creative, and measurement within the retail media ecosystem.
    • Proven ability to operate independently while knowing when and how to ask for help.
    • Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems and identifying new revenue opportunities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; thrives in ambiguity.
    • Previous experience in a sales role with a track record of delivering results; leadership experience is a plus.

    Additional Information

    This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $146,300.00 - $200,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
