VP of Administration for a Mission-Driven Organization
Our client is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of thousands of LA County's most vulnerable children, young people, and families. Their strong and innovative programs have made them a valued community partner. They are seeking a VP of Administration to participate as a member of the senior management team in the management and delivery of non-program functions, including IT, risk management, facilities, and special projects.
This is a flexible hybrid role, regularly reporting to our client’s headquarters in North Hollywood.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a comprehensive strategic plan for the company’s IT, serving as a subject matter expert in software and hardware implementation, database administration, financial systems, website administration, PC and desktop support, and telecommunication
- Serve as a member of the leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of the organization’s strategic plan
- Supervise and provide guidance to the IT Director, Assurance Director, facilities staff, and Director of Contract Compliance & Risk Management
- Negotiate and oversee any contracted third-party IT services
- Provide technical/professional advice and knowledge to others within the agency as needed
- Ensure a compliance library is established and kept up-to-date, assist in resolving situations before they lead to ethical or legal problems
- Maintain CARF accreditation and ensure all of the agency’s permits, licenses, and certifications are up to code
- Continual improvement of the budgeting process for responsible functional areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, required
- 7+ years of experience in leadership positions within the nonprofit industry, ideally in administration, IT, operations, or similar
- Tech-savvy, with extensive experience in operations and IT
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Knowledgeable about principles and best practices of safety and facilities management
- Familiar with relevant laws and regulations
- Organized, with the ability to keep important certifications, business principles, and accreditations up-to-date
- A passion for helping children in the community and a strong belief in the organization's mission
- Spanish fluency, strongly preferred
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $150-155k + bonus
