    We’re looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team in an innovative fintech company. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take a startup engineering culture and transform it into a structured, scalable, and process-driven organization.

    The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with a background in C# .NET, experience in agile sprints, and a deep understanding of scaling engineering teams.     Key Responsibilities

    Engineering Leadership & Team Scaling

    • Build, scale, and structure the engineering team from individual contributors to a high-performing, well-structured organization.
    • Create clear processes, structure, and best practices for engineering execution.
    • Implement sprint-based development methodologies and ensure smooth workflow.

    Technical Strategy & Execution

    • Oversee system architecture, scalability, and software development best practices.
    • Ensure technical decisions align with business objectives and long-term growth.
    • Optimize and balance speed, efficiency, and tech debt to drive sustainable development.
    • Evaluate and build new features and improvements with a strategic mindset.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with VP of Product, developers, and leadership to align engineering with business goals.
    • Be an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative engineering culture while driving accountability and results.

    Must-Have Experience

    • Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or similar leadership role.
    • Successfully scaled engineering teams from startup to structured processes.
    • Experience with C# .NET.
    • Strong understanding of agile development, sprints, and process management.
    • Hands-on development background—must have been a developer before moving into leadership.
    • Experience managing engineering teams in fast-growth, high-impact environments.
    • Strong operational mindset—ability to structure teams, processes, and execution strategies.
    • Not a “yes man”—should be able to stand firm on technical and operational decisions.
    • Excellent people management skills—friendly, kind, but able to hold people accountable.
