Our client, a large information technology and services organization, is seeking a VP of Enterprise Architecture for a hybrid, full-time employee position.
Position Overview
The VP of Enterprise Architecture will lead a high-performing team in developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies and solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, strategic vision, and a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Responsibilities
Leadership
Provide leadership around core technologies, development tools, systems architecture, and security techniques.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to shape architectural strategies and execution.
Inspire and lead a team of architects and engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Ensure the architecture practices align with industry best practices, emphasizing quality, performance, and security.
Strategic and Technical Oversight
Deliver architectural initiatives that drive revenue and efficiency.
Maintain current and aspirational architectural roadmaps.
Oversee the design and implementation of integrated end-to-end systems.
Develop metrics and reports to communicate architecture performance to stakeholders.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Research emerging technologies and trends, recommending their integration when beneficial.
Business and Technology Alignment
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ensure technology strategy aligns with the overall business vision and goals.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding technology investments.
Collaboration and Metrics
Work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, operations, and IT/security teams.
Develop and review performance metrics for technology initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
TOGAF Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, or a related field
5–10 years of experience leading teams in enterprise architecture
Strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing complex enterprise systems
Preferred:
Experience in Fortune 500 companies
Ability to engage at both strategic and tactical levels, including hands-on technical involvement
Additional Details
Onsite interview required; travel expenses covered.
Salary: $200K–$225K base + 15% annual bonus.
