The Vice President of Human Resources (HR) provides executive-level leadership and guidance for the organization’s HR operations.
The Vice President is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
Essentials Functions:
- · Developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary calculations, and managing compensation adjustments.
- Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Manage employee compensation structure, benefits packages, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborates with Senior Leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
- Establishing and implementing performance evaluation systems to monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities.
- Addressing employee concerns, managing disciplinary actions, and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensuring adherence to all applicable employment laws and government reporting, including federal, state, and local regulations regarding discrimination, harassment, affirmative action plan and safety.
- Communicating company policies to employees, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and addressing policy violations, ensuring employee handbook is up to date to reflect current government laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required and six years of human resource management experience with strategic, talent management. A SHRM-CP Certification or PHR Certification preferred.
