About the Role
As the VP of Higher Education Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within a defined sales territory. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you’ll independently manage accounts, cultivate new business opportunities, and enhance partnerships with existing customers. This is a remote position with travel required (up to 50%) to build meaningful connections with university stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
• Achieve Results: Meet and exceed annual and monthly revenue targets through a results-driven sales strategy.
• Prospect & Build: Generate a robust pipeline of new revenue opportunities while managing activities in a CRM system.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with marketing, product management, and operations to deliver tailored enrollment solutions.
• Lead the Process: Manage every aspect of the sales cycle—from prospecting to proposal generation and closing.
• Strengthen Relationships: Develop strong connections with higher education leaders to address their unique needs and challenges.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven success in business, education, or government sales with a track record of commission earnings.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Mindset: Results-focused, resourceful, and tenacious in overcoming obstacles respectfully and professionally.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Travel Ready: Willing to travel within your territory approximately 50% of the time.
