Summary of the Position:
The VP of Operations will be responsible for leading the overall business operations, strategic direction, and long-term growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of projects, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business. The VP of Operations will be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the company’s overall culture, strategy, and growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company, including project management, construction, sales, finance, and service departments, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives, driving operational efficiency and business growth.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and hold accountable high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity across all areas of the business.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.
- Client Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in field service or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale operations and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders.
