We are seeking a Budget Analyst **** to join our diverse and talented team.

    Position Overview:

    The Budget Analyst will support in all areas as they relate to the federal budget process in the areas of financial management and reporting, planning, analysis and reporting, execution, and portfolio management to the federal lead. Also, provide spend plan management support, rent plan management support and support to CBP using Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW), and TRIRIGA software programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support in all areas as they relate to the federal budget process in the areas of financial management and reporting, planning, analysis and reporting, execution, and portfolio management to the federal lead

    • Identify business process best practices and reengineering for financial management processes

    • Employ best practices as it relates to knowledge management

    • Provide spend plan management support, rent plan management support and support to CBP using Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW), and TRIRIGA software programs

    • With government oversight, aid with budget preparation, formulation, execution, analysis, presentation, and reporting

    • Allocate funding to OFAM offices for execution

    • Assist with maintaining financial and real property systems of record, prepare funding requirements, monitor expenditures, provide routine reports on the status of funding, burn rates, and analyze data to identify/mitigate risks

    • Provide spend plan management support, rent plan management support and support to CBP using various systems of record (e.g., CONCUR, Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) application, Business Warehouse (BW), TRIRIGA, etc.)

    • Identify business process best practices and reengineering financial management processes

    • Work with various OFAM offices to develop requirements and update annual and outyear spend plans

    • Upload, maintain data, track expenditures, review, prepare financial information, and report on financial data in all systems of record (SAP, Business Warehouse, and TRIRIGA)

    • Conduct analysis of spending patterns and provide advice on ways to increase efficiencies

    • Utilize SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, and One Note to track and maintain financial documentation

    • Prepare documents in adherence with all reporting rhythms (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)

    • Complete/assist with reporting requirements mandated by Congress, the Administration, DHS, or CBP

    • Coordinate and develop Exhibit 54, GSA’s annual space budget justification process

    • Provide reports and analysis regarding Service Entry Sheet (SES) creation/invoicing, SAP transactions including de-obligation requests, Purchase Request (PR) creation, Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) related data requests, Goods Received/Invoice Received (GR/IR) data requests, SAP data inquiries, parked invoices, and financial tasker responses.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field
    • 4+ years of experience
    • Experience with Power BI database management and maintenance
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Systems Applications and Products (SAP)
    • Ability to manage and timely complete internal recurring deliverables
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content for various audiences
    • Demonstrated ability to foster partnership with various stakeholders
    • Ability to pass a government background investigation
    • U.S. Citizenship required

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation or active clearance preferred
