    About the Role:

    We are seeking a VPD Supervisor to oversee and optimize environmental conditions within our cultivation facility. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring temperature, humidity, airflow, and transpiration to maintain ideal plant health and maximize yield. The VPD Supervisor will collaborate with the Cultivation and Maintenance Teams to implement and refine climate control strategies, ensuring a stable and efficient growing environment.

    This opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates. Internal employees must successfully pass a math test, skill test, and VPD-specific test before moving forward in the interview process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    βœ” Monitor & Analyze environmental conditions, ensuring VPD levels remain within optimal range. βœ” Adjust & Optimize climate control systems, including HVAC, dehumidifiers, exhaust, and circulation fans. βœ” Utilize Data & Software to track trends and proactively address environmental fluctuations. βœ” Troubleshoot & Resolve VPD-related issues to maintain consistent plant health and growth. βœ” Implement SOPs for dehumidification, airflow, and HVAC maintenance. βœ” Train & Mentor cultivation staff on environmental best practices and VPD principles. βœ” Ensure Compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and company safety regulations. βœ” Lead Inspections & Preventative Maintenance on environmental control systems. βœ” Be Available for Emergencies, including after-hours or weekend calls when necessary.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    πŸ”Ή Experience: 2+ years in cultivation, environmental control, HVAC, or commercial greenhouse operations. πŸ”Ή Knowledge of: Advanced VPD principles, climate control systems, airflow dynamics, and environmental automation. πŸ”Ή Skills: Analytical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership. πŸ”Ή Preferred Experience: Working with climate monitoring systems (Argus, Priva, etc.), HVAC controls, and automation software. πŸ”Ή Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): OSHA 30, HVAC certification, METRC compliance knowledge. πŸ”Ή Availability: Open 7 days a week with flexible scheduling based on business needs.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    ⚑ Work in 60-90°F with 50-80% humidity for extended periods. ⚑ Lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and handle irrigation systems. ⚑ Comfortable working under bright lights with required PPE (masks, gloves, uniforms).
