POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales & Marketing Integration Manager serves a critical communications function within the Marketing Organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, this role stimulates and manages information flow between the Sales and Marketing Teams against the Marketing Planning Calendar. The Sales & Marketing Integration Manager works with team leads to deliver fully integrated retailer-specific marketing plans and compiles communications that appropriately merchandise those plans to retail partners, out to global teams and up through executive leadership for visibility and application.
Further, this role will be responsible for working directly with the sales teams to manage the marketing side of the planning and execution of retailer merchandising initiatives such as POP, signage and events. They will work with appropriate marketing functions to execute these initiatives and will serve as the marketing project lead with the Sales Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITES:
- Deeply understand the marketing planning calendar and the various retailer/sales planning calendars, identifying key integration points to align on business goals, objectives, product priorities, promotions, and initiatives
- Evolve process and information streams to best understand product mix and set dates by retailer to communicate to marketing stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional planning between Sales and Marketing, building collaborative relationships and engaging in key Sales meetings to disseminate integral information to marketing team leads and apply to marketing planning.
- Strategize with both Sales and Marketing partners to lead development of retailer-specific marketing plans
- Lead development of and manage ongoing process for communications and cadence with the Marketing team leads to strategically integrate sales team information into relevant channels and confirm plans for execution.
- Lead development of and manage ongoing process for integrated marketing communications, targeting each of the planning periods (Spring, Set, Holiday, Post-Holiday) that includes plan summaries and post-execution recaps tailored to specific audiences that communicate the value of campaigns for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage retailer merchandising and event initiatives with Sales Directors, serving as point of contact between sales team and marketing teams (PR/Social/Video/Graphics)
- Manage relationships, communications, and deliverables with external partners for brand assets at retail; POP/fixtures/displays (not including pallets). Ensure deliverables are in scope, on time, on budget and in a fashion that delivers maximum impact for dollars invested.
- Advise team in coordination of tradeshows and sales meetings.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, collaborative and professional manner.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the area of sales or marketing role, familiar with retail account planning
- Bachelor's degree or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.
- Masters degree is desirable
- Omni-channel experience
- Toy Industry experience
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are primarily performed in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without the use of prescription eyeglasses.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Core hours will be set between employee and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected 25% of the time.
