Description: We are seeking discerning individuals plugged into internet technologies at the intersection of crisis, geopolitical and user harm issues. You will be working on the leading edge of fast-developing issues like the spread of misinformation and potential breaches in election integrity. This position is on-site at the offices of our client, a major technology company, although currently working remotely until further notice.

Candidates can expect a fast-paced, high-energy environment working on a team that delivers high-impact synthesis of culture-shifting trends. Successful candidates will be able to coalesce, through discernment and writing, information from a variety of sources and ensure our client's global team can get up to speed on the latest developing trends. Strong communication skills are essential for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities: ? Synthesize multidimensional information and data sources clearly and concisely for different audiences ? Investigate, analyze and report on identified trends ? Document all data and research procedures ? Work with management to prioritize business and information needs ? Evaluate, analyze and conceptualize strategic risks and threats to trust ? Identify emerging trends and forecast new forms of abuse ? Translate how global developments could cause potential adverse impact on users ? Assimilate feedback and apply learnings in a dynamic environment ? Work cross-functionally with peers, leads, and stakeholders ? Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Required Qualifications & Experience: ? B.A./B.S degree (Political science, Journalism, Digital Media or related field) ? Portuguese native speaker ? Must speak the language fluently and has recently lived in Brazil ? Demonstrate cultural awareness for the language and market ? Strong understanding and work-experience of international and geopolitical events and how they impact Global businesses and/or Relevant work experience in research based role ? 2+ years customer service/client experience ? Excellent writing skills in English. Synthesize the analysis of multi-dimensional data and information clearly and concisely for different audiences ? Fluency and experience using Word/Excel/Powerpoint or gSuite ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams with senior stakeholder and executive visibility ? Calm under pressure, with an ability to function well in urgent, developing situations ? Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask ? Strong deep-dive, analytical and critical thinking skills ? High degree of initiative and deadline-driven productivity ? Strong interest in internet, culture, news, media and current events

Preferred Qualifications: ? Proven track record of an investigative, data-driven approach to answering complex questions ? Familiarity with internet technologies and related policy and regulatory environments ? Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities ? Native or advanced fluency in Spanish a plus
