You are responsible for assistance in day-to-day administration of HR policies and programs covering several or all of the following: Recruiting, compensation and benefits, records management, training, employee relations, safety and personnel research.Your challenges….You assist HR Manager, Generalists, Recruiters and other Valeo staff in day-to-day operations.You assist in implementing human resources programs by providing human resources services and completing employee transactions.You assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications and/or meetings.You enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.You complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.You assist in preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.You protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.You comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.You update, organize and maintain personnel files, medical files, job profiles with proper documentation and updated information.You assist with employee activities, including anniversary and birthday celebrations, holiday activities, employee appreciation activities, and miscellaneous HR activities. Qualifications - Lets talk about you….You are enrolled in a program working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Human ResourcesYou are currently enrolled in a program and are in your Junior or Senior year working towards a Bachelor in Human Resources Your are enrolled in a program working towards a Master's in HR preferred Your have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higherYou can successfully pass drug/background checksYou are legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now or at any time in the futureIn addition…You communicate effectively.You are a Team Player with flexibility.You are self-motivated and take initiative.
