This position acts independently with minimal supervision and can determine their own work priorities. This individual can complete complex projects independently and may work on critical issues with guidance; they understand when to consult senior staff on any project. They have a wide latitude for independent judgement and are a trusted senior member of the team. Their business knowledge is typically considered expert level, and they have domain-specific subject matter expertise in at least multiple areas.

**What your day will look like : **
- Create or update requirements documents specifications, and data models for complex projects or corrections, using established templates
- Update supporting documentation on complex projects, including technical plans, specifications, and release documents as applicable
- Take lead in discovery and Level of Effort (LOE) process in support of the budgetary estimate process
- Gather information from end users to document business, functional, system, and data requirements for complex projects through discovery and design work sessions
- Assess available technologies and recommend solutions to customer and Alliance teams on complex projects
- Develop customer-facing requirements documents based on information gathered for non-complex projects
- Complete detailed work and documentation to communicate technical approach to development team for complex work
- Actively participate in customer meetings, such as Users Groups and Task Forces
- Able to lead a Users Group or Task Force
- Prepare and provide demonstrations to internal or external audiences for at least two add-on products and multiple functional areas in Aware VR. Able to learn and draft new demos as needed
- Act as liaison to other departments and teams as requested, including troubleshooting complex items
- Provide knowledge transfers for complex projects as requested
- Represent analyst team in cross-department meetings as requested
** About You** :
- 3+ years' experience in software technology or business sectors is essential
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or a related field
- Experience and education may be substituted for one another
- Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving
- Skill in business analysis methodologies in analyzing and evaluating information. Technology applications, policies, and issues; and in developing creative and workable solutions to problems and issues
- Experience in business analysis work
- Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
- Maintain quality documentation by following established formatting standards and styles
- Participate in weekly workload reviews to ensure project and release deadlines are met
- Ability to assist as requested to prioritize team workload
- Participate in analyst training activities to learn and grow in the Business Analyst position
- Provide weekly updates for assigned work; communicate any delays immediately to ensure proper customer communication
- Ability to contribute to objectives by completing assigned tasks each quarter
- Review procedural changes as requested to provide feedback to management
- Travel may be required as needed
- Primarily a stationary position, may have occasional opportunities to move about within an office environment
- Operation of a computer and typical office machinery
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Legally authorized to work in the US
