Framatome is seeking a Contract Manager to be Part of the I&C North America Project Management team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintaining records for correspondence and documentation in relation to contract issues
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters
- Full knowledge of contract scope and all parties responsibilities to identify potential commercial issues.
- Lead/coordinate all contract-related issues that may arise with all parties
- Mitigates common contract management risks, such as financial, legal, and security risks.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. CANDIDATES WHO EXCEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.
- BS Degree in Business, Engineering or similar field, or related experience in lieu of degree, plus 10-12 years of project nuclear work experience.
- Candidate must have an in-depth understanding of Contract/Legal terminology and able to explain complex situations to Project Director in simple terms to ensure that all parties understand what they are agreeing to when executing/negotiating/signing a contract.
- Candidate must be versed in risk management and can foresee the possible consequences of decisions made at the project level, allowing them to advise Project Director accordingly and mitigate negative consequences.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.
- Past Contract Management experience in the Nuclear industry.
- Moderate skill level of MS office programs.
- Experience managing contracts in the range fof $50-100M.
- Excellent time management and act with a sense of urgency to coordinate updates to a contract in a timely manner without missing deadlines or losing a client’s interest.
